Advent book:
A note about Copyright: Most of the pictures in the Advent Book are from publications of The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, more specifically, the Gospel Art Kit, The Ensign, The New Era, and
The Friend. The magazines contain this clause in the introductory pages: “Text and visual material in the
[magazine name] may be copied for incidental, noncommercial Church or home use. Visual material may
not be copied if restrictions are indicated in the credit line with the artwork.” To the best of my ability, I
have respected this. If a picture said “do not copy” (and it’s very clear when it does), I didn’t use it. I also
tried to respect copyright with the few pictures not directly from Church sources. Having said all of this,
this book is online only so that you, too, can use the content for noncommercial Church or home use.
Please respect that. Thanks.
ABC:
A note about Copyright: For this book I used many of the ideas and some text from a “Gospel ABC Book”
I found online, altering it as I went. Most of the pictures in this Gospel ABC Book are from resources
belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which allows its visual images (unless
specified) to be copied and used for noncommercial Church or home use (see copyright note for the
Advent Book). I found other images online, trying my best to respect copyright ownership with those, too.
(The only one I feel unsure about is the picture of President Hinckley.) Having said this, this Gospel ABC
book is online only so that you, too, can use the content for noncommercial Church or home use. Please
respect that. Thanks.
