We got to visit our good friends the Clarkes today.  It was great.  Dr. Clarke was my wife's thesis chair, and we've enjoyed a good
friendship ever since.  She's a wonderful person that's had a lot of hard luck, but has always been cheery and happy nonetheless
(at least in our correspondence!).  After that visit, we went to Temple Square in Salt Lake.  My parents first heard about the Mormon
church during a visit to Salt Lake on their honeymoon and joined the church about a year later.  Hence, this location has a lot of
personal meaning to me as well as religious.  The top picture is a statue of Joseph Smith that I had never noticed before.  The rest
are of the Salt Lake temple.  The bottom temple picture is where many wedding shots are taken...or family pictures as the case may
be! The last picture is the famous Christus statue in the visitor's center.
