I represented my office at a U.S. Election Watch party today.  Weird, I know.  Swedes are actually very very interested in the U.S.
Elections.  Three television studios held all night election coverage, there were five (sold out!) major election watch parties, etc.  At
any rate, the party started at 4:30 a.m. to coincide with poll closings on the East Coast.  At about 5:00 a.m. Obama got his 270.
Swedes are generally very excited about it, with 75% of Swedes favoring Obama according to a recent poll.  It'll be interesting to see
what the next few months bring and if he will be able to deliver on his promises.  I noted the rhetoric in his acceptance speech, "It
may take more than a year; it may take more than a term."  In other words, I promised all this stuff, but don't set your expectations
too high.  He can always use that as an "I told you so." when things don't happen as quickly as everyone thinks they should.  Very
similar to Bush saying that the war in Ira would take years, I think.  And yet, people still thought it could happen overnight.  I guess
with the instantaneous everything in the information age, we expect substantive changes to happen overnight as well, like it was as
easy as sending an e-mail or something.  Silly people in our country.

At any rate, because I went to the party, I got to go home from work while it was still light out!  Hooray!  The sun currently sets about
3:30 p.m., and it's only November!  I also happened to be in the Swedish Radio Station today, and happened to catch a glimpse of
Tomas Nordegren, a famous radio personality, and Tiger Woods's father-in-law (below).
